Philidor on Google

A while ago there was a lot of controversy about plans by Google to digitize all of the world's books. I'd forgotten all about it until I bumped into Google Books by chance during a search last week.

They have amassed a fascinating collection of early chess works including a 1790 edition of Francois Philidor's "Analysis of the Game of Chess" and an 1819 edition of the "The Game of Chess" by Gioachino Greco.
